The birth of the city and the development of the media have produced new dynamics of social relations and redefined the categories of space and time. During the course we will review the path that has given the centrality of the concept of generation by identifying, as a distinctive addition to age, interests and lifestyles, spaces and leisure activities to understand the patterns of consumption and the process of identity construction of young people.
